Our Providers

Located in Wappingers Falls NY, NPS Behavioral Services houses a diverse group of private psychotherapy professionals and nurse practitioners dedicated to providing exceptional, empathetic care. NPS was established in response to the Hudson Valley’s growing need for mental health and substance abuse services in a private, collaborative setting. NPS practitioners are able to provide such services directly; to collaborate with other NPS practitioners; and refer to other specialty providers as needed.

Joseph Ali, NP-P

I have been working in the mental health field for 32 years and my approach to psychiatric treatment continues to be based on two core principles, compassion and collaboration.  I believe the key to effective treatment is founded on carefully listening to my patients, because the answers are within the details of what my patients are experiencing.  It is also the basis by which an accurate diagnosis is established.  I want my patients to feel heard and seen.

Daniel Galage, PMHNP-BC

I take an evidence-based, outcomes-oriented approach to psychiatric care, with a focus on helping clients achieve lasting relief from symptoms. My work emphasizes thoughtful medication management supported by clear, practical psychoeducation. I ask targeted questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of your experience, so that we can make sound clinical decisions together. My goal is to create a space that is collaborative, grounded, and guided by what has been shown to work.
