Daniel Galage, PMHNP-BC
I take an evidence-based, outcomes-oriented approach to psychiatric care, with a focus on helping clients achieve lasting relief from symptoms. My work emphasizes thoughtful medication management supported by clear, practical psychoeducation. I ask targeted questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of your experience, so that we can make sound clinical decisions together. My goal is to create a space that is collaborative, grounded, and guided by what has been shown to work.

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand your history, symptoms, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I approach these conversations with curiosity, professionalism, and an emphasis on clarity. You can expect a calm, judgment-free environment where you’re encouraged to speak openly, especially about what’s been difficult. Together, we’ll establish a clear plan for moving forward based on your needs and goals.
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), licensed in New York. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent several years working as a psychiatric nurse with a wide range of clients, and began my career supporting individuals in addiction recovery and those living with disabilities. My earlier experience was rooted in my psychology background and focused on understanding how people think, feel, and adapt in different life circumstances. I now work primarily with adults aged 18–80 who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, mood, focus, and sleep. I currently offer both in-person and virtual appointments.
